ALBANY Nick Bradley was credited as the winning pitcher as the Watertown Wizards downed the Albany Dutchmen, 5-2 on Friday in a Perfect Game Collegiate League baseball game at Bob Bellizzi Field.
With the victory, the seventh-place Wizards (16-22) moved to within 3 1/2 games of Newark, which occupies the fourth and final playoff berth in the circuit.
Watertown returns to host Albany (17-19) at 7 tonight and Newark at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
