LOWVILLE Village police on Monday arrested Nicholas M. Panarese, 26, of 5388 Eugene St., following an investigation of a home burglary at 5384 Eugene St.
Lowville Police Chief Eric C. Fredenburg reported the department received a complaint from the homeowner July 13.
It is alleged that Mr. Panarese broke into the home July 9 between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and stole multiple pieces of jewelry worth a total of $2,250. Chief Fredenburg said the investigation revealed Mr. Panarese later sold some of the stolen items in Watertown.
Mr. Panarese was arraigned in Village Court and sent to the Lewis County jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
