Bessie E. Curry, 86 formerly of Norfolk, NY passed away early Sunday morning (July 15, 2012) at the Maplewood Campus, Canton, N.Y. Surviving Bessie E. Curry is her daughters Susan and husband Grant Dennis, Madrid, Judith and husband Dale LaVan of Muncy, PA, and her son Charles Curry, Jr. and his companion Roxanne of Ocala, FL. 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, three sisters; Anna Stewart of Scotia, NY, Doris Hoffman and her husband Al of Mulberry, FL, Dorothy Broughton of St. Cloud, FL. Bessie was a long time member of the Christian Fellowship Center, Madrid. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She was lovingly and best remembered as Grandma Curry treating children after Sunday services at the Christian Fellowship Center with candy. At the families request memorials maybe made to the Activities Fund at the United Helpers, Maplewood Nursing Home c/o 205 State Street Rd. Canton, NY 13617. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Madrid.Services and interment will be at the family’s convenience.
