A 16-year-old Watertown youth was charged Tuesday night by Watertown police with two counts of criminal mischief in connection with vehicle vandalism.

One of the charges against Tajemar M. Brandon, 823 Academy St., is a felony.

He awaits prosecution on allegations that on May 26, he slashed two tires on a car owned by Tammy S. Maitland, 211 S. Rutland St., and on June 17, caused $735 in unspecified damage to a 2011 Nissan Sentra belonging to Tina M. LaGrow, 435 S. Hycliff Drive, according to police documents.
