Michael T. Schaber, 42, of 1210 Madison Ave., was arrested late Tuesday by Watertown police on allegations that he grabbed his 16-year-old stepdaughter by the wrist and then slammed her to the floor in their home.

He is due to appear in City Court to face charges of endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. Police said the incident occurred in the presence of his 10-year-old daughter.
