"TURIN — Lewis County sheriff’s deputies on Monday charged Jessica R. VanWinkle, 33, Lowville, with second-degree criminal contempt.

Ms. VanWinkle is accused of violating an order of protection on June 23 by contacting Parker L. Moyer, 34, Turin, by telephone.

She is to appear in Turin Town Court.
