Kendall Vecchio, who was a junior this past spring for the General Brown boys lacrosse team, has verbally committed to play college lacrosse at Division I Johns Hopkins University, beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.

Vecchio, a second-team Frontier League All-Star and an honorable mention pick on the Times’ All-North team, is transferring to the Watertown School District, and plans to play for the Cyclones in the spring of 2013.

Vecchio is also a member of the Central New York boys lacrosse team in the upcoming Empire State Games from July 26-29 in Syracuse.
