CANTON — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies found a man hiding in his mother-in-law’s Ogdensburg attic Monday, then arrested him on a charge of violating his probation.

Coleman S. Legault, 21, of 419 Lost Village Road, Ogdensburg, was located hiding in the attic crawl space of his mother-in-law’s Crescent Street residence, deputies said. He had an outstanding warrant for violating the terms of his County Court probation. Deputies were unable to provide additional details about the warrant.

Mr. Legault was brought to the county jail and will be arraigned on the warrant at a later date, deputies said.
