BEAVER FALLS — Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, has added a physician assistant at its health center here.

Brittani L. Bickel has joined the medical staff at Beaver River Health Center, 9559 Main St., and she and fellow physician assistant Melinda Rosner are accepting new patients.

Ms. Bickel, a Watertown native, previously worked at the health clinics in Harrisville, Evans Mills and Carthage and at the Cape Vincent Correctional Facility, according to a release from the county-owned hospital.

Ms. Bickel is also a fitness instructor and personal trainer at the Watertown Family Yand an avid hockey player.

She attended Boston University and Syracuse University, from which she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
