Sweeney, Tufo, Bufalini advance in match play

Three second-round championship flight matches were completed in the Watertown City Men’s Golf Championship on Tuesday.

Jason Sweeney defeated Ralph Larsen, 4 and 2, Joe Tufo beat Eric Burke, 6 and 5, while Mike Bufalini advanced past Mike Burgess, 3 and 1.

On Monday, Bob Hughes earned a 6-and-5 victory over Bob Phillips.

All four matches took place at the Watertown Golf Club.
