UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged Hunter J. Favreau, 18, of 26 Talcott St., Massena, and Nicholas T. Johnson, 18, of 10 Grant St., Massena, with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on North Main Street. Police said the traffic stop was made after a patrol observed the driver strike the curb as he turned from Center Street onto Park Avenue and then onto North Main Street. Police said they smelled a marijuana odor when they approached the vehicle, and Favreaum, a passenger in the vehicle, admitted he had a small package of marijuana and a smoking device under his seat. Both men were released on appearance tickets.
