Stella M. Harwood, 90, a resident at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home and formerly of Adams, died Friday July 6 at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Mrs. Harwood was born November 26, 1921 to Hubert and Gertrude (Alcombrack) Nichols. She attended Adams High School. Her first marriage to Arthur W. Webb ended in divorce. She married Lewis J. Harwood in Adams in 1965.

Mrs. Harwood was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Don Rounds, American Legion Post #0586 and the Adams VFW.

Surviving are a daughter Pamela (Frederick) Dickinson, Pierrepont Manor, two sisters Esther Dean Phoenix, AZ and Marion Lake, Ogdensburg, NY, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Lewis and two sisters Lorena Moore and Ida Wilson.

There are no calling hours or funeral. Arrangements are with the Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, NY
