Motorists facing alcohol or drug charges

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Brad M. Darling, 29, James Street, Constableville, also was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies with imprudent speed and aggravated unlicensed operation at 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Route 26 in the town of West Turin. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.09 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

■ Dayra Diaz-Gonzalez, 21, Fort Polk, La., was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 3:10 a.m. Saturday on Route 11 in the town Pamelia. She also was charged with driving without a seat belt, failure to keep right and having inadequate headlights. She had a BAC of 0.16 percent, deputies said.

■ Matthew J. Sailor, 21, Webster, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 2:28 a.m. Saturday on Route 342 in the town of LeRay. His BAC was 0.11 percent, deputies said. He also was charged with crossing hazard markings, failure to keep right and driving with an inadequate or no muffler.

■ Joseph A. Sharlow, 23, of 24311 White Road, Watertown, was charged by state police at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 37 in Pamelia. Troopers said his BAC was 0.08 percent.

Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:

■ Corey C. Clark, 23, of 303 Liberty St., Dexter, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies after being stopped shortly before midnight Friday on West Grove Street in Dexter. He also was charged with failing to change his address on his license, failure to stop at a stop sign, improper signaling, driving across a hazard marking, having insufficient taillights, failure to keep right and having inadequate headlights.
