GOUVERNEUR - Marcia J. Curcio, 59, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

There are no calling hours or funeral services and arrangements are with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.

Marcia was born in Gouverneur on October 27, 1952, the daughter of Orlando and Elizabeth Maville Curcio.

She graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1971 and attended nurses training courses. Marcia was employed at the Kinney Nursing home for over thirty years.

Marcia enjoyed watching television, especially westerns and horror films, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Marcia is survived by her companion of twelve years Timothy Rubado, a son Jamie and Michelle Curcio of Harrisville, a daughter Casey Garlough of Gouverneur, and a grandson Addison Garlough. She is also survived by a sister Sandi Curcio of Gouverneur and her companion Daniel Pais of Florida, a estranged sister Paula and Kevin Wilson of Warren, PA, a estranged brother David and Mary Curcio of Gouverneur, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is predeceased by her parents.
