FORT DRUM The new connector road going into post is now the Paul Cerjan Memorial Highway after Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo approved legislation for the name change Tuesday. The change comes after the state Legislature passed legislation regarding the new name June 21.
Lt. Gen. Paul G. Cerjan, assistant division commander for support with the 10th Mountain Division from 1985 to 1987, oversaw more than $1.2 billion in construction projects that helped the post take its current form. He died in April 2011.
