THERESA — Two people were arrested Sunday following a domestic incident in the presence of two children.

Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies charged Nathan P. Burt, 26, of 32650 County Route 22, Antwerp, and Nicole M. Lacey, 21, of 32103 County Route 30, LeRay, with second-degree harassment and acting in manner that injures a child less than 17 years old.

According to deputies, about 1:30 p.m. the pair physically struck each other while engaged in a domestic dispute both at Mr. Burt’s residence and in a moving vehicle. The pair fought in front of two children, one 4 years old and the other 8 months old.

The two were given appearance tickets for Theresa Town Court.
