Watertown police charged Robert C. Finn, 49, and Jonathan T. Finn, 21, both of 202 Chestnut St., with multiple offenses following an altercation Friday in the 1200 block of Arsenal Street.

According to police, Robert Finn swung a baseball bat at a North Syracuse man while Jonathan Finn threatened to bash in the victim’s skull.

Robert Finn was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. Jonathan Finn was charged with third-degree menacing and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both were taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where they were released with tickets to appear in City Court.
