BROWNVILLE — Jonathan O. LaJuett, 29, of 8109 County Route 125, Chaumont, was treated Thursday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, after being injured in a motorcycle accident on Route 12E in the town of Brownville.

He suffered cuts on his neck, according to a Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy’s report.

Mr. LaJuett was eastbound about 7:30 a.m. when his bike’s kickstand dropped to the pavement, the deputy said. He lost control of the bike on a curve, and it went off the road and struck a sign post. Mr. LaJuett was cited with being an unlicensed operator.
