The New York State Zoo at Thompson Park will hold its first photography contest through July. Entrants will have from Sunday to July 31 to submit photos taken at the zoo, and images will be displayed from Aug. 5 to 19 at the zoo. Winners in two categories, Director’s Choice and People’s Choice, will receive a one-year membership to the zoo and a plush animal.
