OGDENSBURG For a second consecutive summer, Ogdensburg Public Library will shorten its hours of operation by cutting back on what has in recent years become the least busy day of the season. Starting this weekend and on through July and August, the library will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
Library Director Wayne L. Miller said Tuesday that visitor traffic at the library, 312 Washington St., begins falling off by early afternoon.
Mr. Miller said the shorter Saturday last summer came off without a hitch.
The rest of the librarys hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday. The library is closed Sunday.
