CitiBus has started providing service to Thompson Park on Saturdays for the summer.

The buses will run each Saturday through Sept. 1. During that time, Saturday service along Washington Street by Watertown High School and the Samaritan Medical Plaza will be discontinued.

Riders can put their bicycles on mounts on the front of the bus. They also can bring a cooler and a picnic lunch.

Two bus stops have been designated at the park: West Tower Drive, adjacent to the playground area, and opposite the pavilion by the crosswalk. Arrival times are 10:40 a.m., noon and 1:20, 2:40, 4 and 5:20 p.m.
