I’m a senior citizen from this area now living in Florida. I visit this area every summer.

I’m writing in response to a TV interview with Mitt Romney I saw this morning. The Republicans think the American public is dumb. I’m here to say that isn’t so. Of course President Obama hasn’t been able to do a lot of the things he promised, not with a Republican Congress that is hellbent on him becoming a one-term president. No one would be able to under those circumstances. Also, Mr. Obama knows that if we don’t have young people in the work force, Social Security will go broke. Because he gave an executive order in an election year to allow Hispanic young people to stay and work and pay into Social Security they make a villain out of him.

Mr. Obama saved the auto industry and the banks, ordered the assassination of Osama bin Laden, knows what it’s like to be poor and loves his family and his country.

I will not vote for someone who his entire life never had to wonder where his next meal was coming from, gone to bed hungry nor had to accept food stamps to survive. He has no clue what poor people go through.

President Obama, you have my vote again this time.
