AGGRAVATED DWI - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Lorne A. McLean, 40, of Stockholm with aggravated driving while intoxicated and a felony count of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 11C near the Skinnerville Road jnust outside of Winthrop. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.23 percent, nearly four times the legal limit of 0.08 percent. He was also ticketed for failure to keep right and speeding. He was arraigned by Norfolk Town Justice Donald Lustyik and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,500. He reportedly has an August 2005 driving while intoxicated conviction from Rotterdam court and an October 2000 conviction for driving while ability impaired from Wilton Town Court.
PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - MOIRA - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 12:39 a.m. Thursday on Route 11 near the Elmer Road in the town of Moira. Troopers said the vehicle was being operated by Mark R. King, 55, of Brasher Falls.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police investigated several property damage accidennts Wednesday and early Thursday morning. They included:
■ Geraldine M. Tiernan, 81, of Dekalb Junction at 4:31 a.m. Thursday on Route 11 near Cowen Road in the town of Potsdam.
■ Robert M. Scott, 46, of Helena at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 55 in the town of Brasher just outside the hamlet of North Lawrence.
■ Keith A. Jandrew, 28, of Massena and Joseph G. Buffham, 55, of Massena were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 2:54 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 37 at East Orvis Street.
■Phillip Lloyd Page, 19, of Madrid was involved in a three-vehicle collision at 12:03 p.m. Wednesday on Route 110 on the town of Mooers investigated by Chazy-based state police.
■ Myron J. Brady, 40, of Constable and T.M. Fleury-Daigle, 70, of Constable were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 19 at state Route 122 in the town of Westville.
