Immaculate Heart Central junior Kayla Miles has been selected as a Brine National High School All-American for girls lacrosse, and will represent the Upstate N.Y. Region in the Brine National Lacrosse Clinic from June 30-July 3 in Boyds, Md.
The top 400 high school underclassmen lacrosse players are invited to the event, where 16 regional teams will compete to become the 2012 national champion and qualify to compete internationally later in the year.
Miles, daughter of Richard and Mary Miles, scored a team-high 47 goals to go with 19 assists in helping lead the Cavaliers to their first Frontier League title this season. She was named to the Times All-North first team, and has committed to play Division I lacrosse at North Carolina in spring 2014.
