The July 3 Concert in the Park at Thompson Park will feature a 5:15 p.m. performance by local band Fred and the Eds before the Symphony Syracuse plays.

The event will be free and will also feature a fireworks display. The Thompson Park Conservancy will run a concession stand, according to Erin E. Gardner, Watertown Parks and Recreation superintendent.

A rain date has been scheduled for July 5.
