Dexter- Eileen B. Richardson, age 74 of Pillar Point, passed away Monday morning at Samaritan Medical Center. She had been in failing health for the past few months.
Eileen was born September 28, 1937 in Watertown, the daughter of Edwin M. and Verna L. Spencer Eveleigh. She graduated from Dexter High School and House of Good Samaritan School of Nursing.
She married Warren J. Richardson on August 17, 1958 at the Dexter United Methodist Church. The couple operated a farm on Pillar Point. She also was a nurse at House of Good Samaritan and later a Teller at Key Bank in Dexter.
She enjoyed watching birds, reading, cooking and canning. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.
She is survived by her husband Warren, a son and his wife Stephen and Jane Richardson of Great Bend, a daughter Denise Richardson of Dexter, grandchildren Stephen and Alicia Richardson of Great Bend, a brother Paul and Marylou Eveleigh of Groton, N.Y., nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 16th at 1:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home Dexter. Worship Leader William Bell of St. Pauls Episcopal Church of Brownville officiating.Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County 1398 Gotham St. Watertown, N.Y. 13601.
