FORT DRUM — Information is limited in the non-combat-related deaths of two soldiers, Sgt. Colton L. Derr and Spc. Jacob A. Osborne, on April 28.

No cause of death was listed for either soldier, and there was no indication the deaths were connected.

Sgt. Derr, 24, served in the 3-71 Calvary Squadron, 3rd Brigade Combat Team. An obituary listing for Sgt. Derr may be found at www.bit.ly/KKb8Xj.

Spc. Osborne, 20, served as a power generator mechanic in the Headquarters and Service Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion. An obituary listing for Spc. Osborne can be found at www.bit.ly/JVcvW5.

A post spokesperson said the Army could not release any information about the soldiers because their deaths did not occur on the post and were not related to their military service.
