FORT DRUM — Brittany S. St. John, 26, Brockville, Ontario, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies Friday morning with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after Fort Drum police said they found three hydromorphone tablets in her car.

Ms. St. John could not present any identification at the Fort Drum gate, so her car was searched and the tablets were found, deputies said. She also was charged with not having a valid registration.
