Long-shot doc Scott Noren will speak at the American Legion Post 61, 138 Sterling St., about his "Occupy"-themed Senate candidacy.

Mr. Noren, an oral surgeon, wants to take on Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in November.

Mr. Noren was perhaps the first congressional candidate to take up the liberal-populist Occupy Wall Street theme.

Sadly, he's probably most famous for his tiff with Capital Tonight's Liz Benjamin and his threats to "occupy" Time Warner Cable.

An Army vet, Mr. Noren will discuss the toll of multiple redeployments on soldiers, and a jobs bill that he wrote.
