FORT DRUM — The post’s community meeting Friday will feature Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand, D-N.Y. and Holly Petraeus, of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The meeting, open to all post soldiers, military families and civilians, will focus on how to assist military families with financial issues. The meeting also will feature a question-and-answer session.

A release issued by the Army said soldiers and their families are frequently at risk of being targeted by unscrupulous lenders.

The meeting will begin at 3:45 p.m. Friday at the Commons, Euphrates River Valley Road, Bldg. P-4350.
