Have you ever noticed the sky in NNY has seasons, just like the air, the grass and flowers, our wardrobes? Today I'm celebrating the summer sky because even looking at pictures of what I have to look forward to this summer is so much more pleasant than getting all angsty over the lead gray sky out my window today (which is much like yesterday's, and the day before... and the day before that.)

Here are some photos of Lake Ontario and the beautiful skies above it that I have taken over the past couple of years. This is what I'm looking forward to on this damp, dreary NNY late winter day: our Sackets Harbor, NY cottage in the summertime.
