A teenage girl grabbed a staff member at the Children’s Home of Jefferson County by the hair on her head and yanked her around a room Tuesday, according to Watertown police.

The staff member, Julie R. Moore, 30, Carthage, who had a clump of hair torn from her head, was also punched in the face several times, police said.

Angela M. Bonhomme, 17, a resident of the facility, was arrested on a charge of third-degree assault. She is due for arraignment in City Court.
