FORT DRUM — Starting Monday, the post will open additional gates on weekday mornings. The gate located off Route 3A on the former County Route 37 in Deferiet and the old Nash Gate on Route 26 will open from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. from Monday through Friday. The reopened Nash Gate will allow only inbound traffic. Only individuals with a valid Department of Defense Identification Card will be granted access at the gates.

The newly opened gates will be closed on weekends, holidays and days with no scheduled activities.

Access at the other six gates will remain unchanged.
