The Golden Knights snapped a four-game losing streak to Yale and came back from a two-goal deficit to win 5-4 in overtime on Sunday afternoon at Cheel Arena.

Freshman defenseman Sam Labrecque scored two goals for Clarkson (10-10-5 overall, 4-4-3 ECAC Hockey), including the game-winner at 3 minutes, 59 seconds of overtime:

Yale (8-7-2, 5-4-1) scored the first two goals of the game and answered Labrecque's first goal with a goal from Clinton Bourbonais to take a 3-1 lead at 14:44 of the second period.

Clarkson's comeback began when Ben Sexton scored this goal during a five-on-three power play at 18:22 of the second period, cutting Yale's lead to 3-2.

Just 1:18 after Sexton's goal, Louke Oakley scored a power-play goal to tie the game. Oakley then scored just 1:50 into the third period on a breakaway to give Clarkson a 4-3 lead.

Yale responded with a goal from Colin Dueck at 2:48 of the third period to tie the game.

The game went to overtime with Clarkson still having 40 seconds left of a power play after Yale's Dueck was called for interference late in the third period. Then at 3:40 of the third period Yale's bench was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, setting up Labrecque's game-winning goal.
