Two face drug charges in Watertown

A Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force and state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team raid led to two felony drug charges on Tuesday night.

Ginger L. Armstrong, 45, of 588 W. Prospect St., and Gregg Malone, 23, Manhattan, were arrested at 9:45 p.m. after a search warrant was executed at Ms. Armstrong’s residence.

Police found 1.5 ounces of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. The two were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.

The Watertown Police Department, Jefferson County Entry Team and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit assisted. Police continue the investigation.
