POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam has hired Bears men’s assistant coach Mark Misiak as its new women’s soccer coach, the college announced Tuesday.
Misiak replaces Tim Moody, who was the women’s coach the last five seasons.
Misiak was an assistant to men’s head coach Adam Parker last season. Prior to that, he was the men’s coach at Clinton Community College and also coached boys and girls youth premier teams in the Plattsburgh area.
Misiak was captain of the SUNY Plattsburgh team, helping the Cardinals to the Final Four in 2005. He graduated from Plattsburgh in 2007.
