SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Jim Reagen, the spokesman for Sen. Patty Ritchie, said today that Darrel Aubertine will go up for a vote Tuesday on the Senate Agriculture Committee to be nominated to the commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Markets.

Mrs. Ritchie and Mr. Aubertine are former political foes whose brutal battle for the 48th Senate District left some bitter feelings, but it looks like Mrs. Ritchie's office is trying to smooth things over with some nice grip-n-grin news releases and pledges to work together for the benefit of the ag community.
