St. Lawrence captain and senior forward Aaron Bogosian has been nominated by the league coaches as a finalist for the ECAC's Best Defensive Forward award.

Also nominated are Adam Presizniuk (Union) and Kelly Zajac (Union).

Says the ECAC:

"Bogosian has established his role with the Saints as the team's top penalty killer and has developed into one of the best defensive forwards in the league during his four years in Canton. The senior was called upon to direct the Saints’ special team unit which led the conference in killing penalties at a 87.4% success rate. The Messena, NY native was also a major contributor to the Saints’ defense, which allowed 3.32 goals in 22 conference games. Bogosian, the gifted two-way student-athlete, also netted one shorthanded goal and ranked third on the team in scoring with six goals and eight assists in 17 league games."
