Peter Lappin, a 1988 graduate of St. Lawrence University, was selected as one the ECAC's 50 greatest players in the latest installment.

Lappin was a two-time All-America and currently holds the St. Lawrence all-time scoring record with 187 points. Lappin made it to the NHL, where he played for the Minnesota North Stars in 1990 and San Jose Sharks in 1992.
