Thomas Albert Williams, 57, Radcliff, Ky., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at University of Louisville (Ky.) Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born at Ft. McPherson, Ga., a son of Albert H. Williams and Doris Averett, he attended Carthage schools. Mr. Williams served in the military for many years and completed a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He was a tractor trailer driver for over 20 years and was currently on disability.
A marriage ended in divorce.
He enjoyed motorcycling, and was known as "Highway" with independent motorcycle groups and Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Group he rode with.
Surviving are his father, Albert H. Williams, Kaiserslauten, Germany; his mother, Doris Averett, Radcliff; a son, Jeffrey Williams, Washington; a sister, Brenda Williams, Radcliff; a brother and sister-in-law, A. Wayne and Barbara Williams, Sackets Harbor; three nieces, Chelsea Williams, Radcliff, Stephanie Williams, Sackets Harbor, and Linda Williams and husband, Stefan Maucher, New York City; and three nephews, Gregory Williams, Black River, Jeffrey Williams, and wife, Stephanie, Yorksville, and Joseph Williams, Sackets Harbor.
