CARTHAGE — Katrina A. Bannon and Andrew C. Stafford, both of Hopewell Junction, were married at 1 p.m. Oct. 17 at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. George Maroun officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Michael Bannon, and wore a strapless satin pick-up-style gown with champagne-colored ribbon bodice band and cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

Kimberly Bannon, Buffalo, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bridget Bannon, Long Island, sister-in-law of the bride, Jacquelyn Hemsley, Elmer, N.J., sister of the groom, and Nora Spadaro, Long Island.

David Houghton, Canton, was best man. Michael and Justin Bannon, both of Long Island and brothers of the bride, and Ryan Jones, Great Bend, were groomsmen.

A 6 p.m. reception was held at the Edgewood Resort, Alexandria Bay. The couple spent a night in the royal suite at Singer Castle, Alexandria Bay, and spent a week in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, for their wedding trip.

Mrs. Stafford, daughter of Michael and Maureen Bannon, Manorville, Long Island, is a 2001 graduate of Eastport High School, Long Island.

Mr. Stafford, son and stepson of Karen and David Jones, Carthage, and son and stepson of Charles and Nancy Stafford, Black River, is a 2001 graduate of Carthage High School.

They both received bachelor's degrees in geology from SUNY Potsdam and are employed by Groundwater and Environmental Services, Patterson.
