Pacilio receives award from state association

Chris Pacilio has been selected the New York State West Youth Soccer Association's Administrator of the Year, the organization announced Monday.

Pacilio, who also coaches Jefferson Community College's men's soccer squad, has helped the Northern New York Soccer League grow from 12 to 51 teams in the past few years. Over 1,000 children currently participate in the league, compared to less than 200 three years ago.

A Watertown resident, Pacilio has helped the league grow through his efforts to provide training for coaches, and the committment to make participation affordable, as league fees are just $50 per team.
