Mr. & Mrs. Daren Morgan -- 40 years

THERESA — Mr. and Mrs. Daren Morgan, 210 Pine St., plan to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday with a family dinner.

Mr. Morgan, son of Ann Myers, Oneonta, and Wayne Morgan, Redwood, married Beverly Ogden, daughter of the late Albert and Vera Ogden, Watertown, Nov. 8, 1969, at Emmanuel Congregational Church, Watertown, with the Rev. Graham R. Hodges officiating.

Honor attendants were Bonnie Martin, Jacksonville, Fla., and Michael Colligan, Watertown.

Mrs. Morgan is a 1968 graduate of Watertown High School. She was employed by Faichney Medical Supplies and Mercy Hospital, Watertown, and is employed by DealMaker Auto Group, Watertown. She is a former president of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors Ladies Auxiliary and a former chief of the Theresa Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and reading.

Mr. Morgan is a 1967 graduate of Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, a 1969 graduate of the SUNY-ESF (College of Environmental Science and Forestry) Ranger School, Wanakena, and served in the Army from 1969 to 1972. He has been employed by LaFave, White and McGivern Land Surveyors, Theresa, where he is now president, since 1972. He was licensed in 1982 by New York state as a land surveyor. Mr. Morgan is a former president of New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors and the Black River Valley Association of Professional Land Surveyors, and is an honorary member of the Theresa Fire Department. He enjoys fishing, photography and spending time with his grandchildren.

They have a son and daughter-in-law, Michael S. and Kelly Morgan, Antwerp, a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer P. and Michael Foley, Watertown, and three grandchildren.
