RODMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Jed J. Wall, Rodman, observed their 30th wedding anniversary Oct. 27. They plan to take a vacation this year to celebrate.
Mr. Wall, son of Mildred A. Wall, Oxford, and the late Donald B. Wall, married Betty E. Green, daughter of Betty and Eugene Green, Chanute, Kan., Oct. 27, 1979, at the Vilas Bethel Lutheran Church, Chanute, with the Rev. Warren Jones officiating. Honor attendants were David Green, Coffeyville, Kan., and Vickie Ward.
Mrs. Wall is a 1979 graduate of Clarks Business College, Topeka, Kan.
Mr. Wall received an associate's degree in criminal justice and is an Army veteran. He retired after 25 years with the state Department of Correctional Services at the rank of sergeant. He is a bus driver for the South Jefferson Central School District. He is a member of the Rodman Fire Department, Adams American Legion and the Rodman Hunting Club and is a Rodman town councilman. He enjoys hunting, fishing and farming.
Mrs. Wall is a homemaker and enjoys working with stained glass, farming and sewing. She is a member of the Rodman Fire Department Auxiliary.
They have four children, Betsy Wall, Syracuse; Clayton Wall,and wife Belen, Yuma, Ariz.; Denise Wall, Cooperstown; and Chad Wall, Cornell, and two grandsons.
