Tara Buckingham, Jesse C.P. Roshia

Mark and Michelle Buckingham, Croghan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara L. Buckingham, Watertown, to Jesse C.P. Roshia, Watertown.

Miss Buckingham is a 2000 graduate of Beaver River Central School, Castorland, and received a bachelor's degree in political science and public justice from SUNY Oswego. She received a master's degree in public administration from Walden University, an online university, and is a community educator and volunteer coordinator for Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County, Watertown.

Mr. Roshia, son and stepson of Amy and Doug Wise, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and son of Arthur Roshia III, Watertown, is a 1999 graduate of Watertown High School and received a bachelor's degree in economics and government from St. Lawrence University, Canton, in 2003. He is director of residential services at the Children's Home of Jefferson County, Watertown.

An Oct. 2 wedding is planned.
