CANTON — St. Lawrence County's economic development chief will keep his job for another three years.

County legislators voted unanimously Monday to grant a three-year term to Economic Development Director Raymond H. Fountain. His new term begins Jan. 1.

Mr. Fountain also serves as the executive director of the county Industrial Development Agency. He was appointed to the Office of Economic Development's top post in January 2003 following the retirement of Edmund J. Russell.
