ST. REGIS FALLS — June Marion Petersen, 76, died Friday at Life Care Center Nursing Home, Punta Gorda, Fla., where she had been a resident for the past several years.

Ms. Petersen was a registered nurse for many years with Shands Memorial Hospital, Gainesville, Fla.

Her mother, Florence Ploof Braatz, was from the St. Regis Falls area.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. June 13 at St. Ann's Church, St. Regis Falls, with the Rev. Alfred Fish officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home, St. Regis Falls.
