SeaComm Federal Credit Union will have free member seminars on identity theft in the communities it serves.

All seminars will begin at 6:30 p.m. The first will be Thursday at the Canton branch.

Future sessions will be at branch offices Sept. 18 in Malone, Sept. 25 in Potsdam and Oct. 2 in Massena.

The workshops will cover the methods criminals use to obtain personal information. Participants will learn how to minimize their risk and safeguard sensitive information. The seminar will also discuss warning signs and steps to be taken if victimized.
