The New York State Zoo at Thompson Park will receive a set of conservation books, DVDs and online resources from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the American Association for State and Local History.

The collection includes topics on the philosophy and ethics of collecting, collections management and planning, emergency preparedness and culturally specific conservation issues.
