The Civil Service Employees Association, which has 265,000 members statewide, endorsed mostly incumbents Friday in the north country's state Legislature races.

The union endorsed U.S. Rep. John M. McHugh, R-Pierrepont Manor, in the 23rd Congressional District; Sen. Joseph A. Griffo, R-Rome, in the 47th state Senate District; Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine, D-Cape Vincent, in the 48th state Senate District; Assemblywoman Dierdre K. Scozzafava, R-Gouverneur, in the 122nd Assembly District, and Addie J. Russell, D-Theresa, for the vacant 118th Assembly District seat.
